From the price quote until the work was completed, I was extremely happy with the job American Dry Basement did.  Paul came out to take a look at the job and provide us with an estimate.  He was thorough and took his time to assess how to resolve our leaking basement.  Their pricing was fair and below the other basement-y companies we got estimates from.  But what sold us was the method their system uses versus the others.  Their system puts the drainage pipe along the bottom of the footings rather than on top of them. The workers did a great job .  The job site was left clean and they made sure to cover everything before starting the work.  We just had a major rain and not a drop of water in our basement. I had a small system installed by this company and Paul is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He pointed out the obvious to me, which only Paul could figure out, and after living through massive basement flooding because of ceased sump pumps for a dozen years he found a better solution for us. The price was right and the fact that I no longer have to worry about this is almost priceless. Thanks Paul and the guys at American Dry Basement Systems ****3 year update.  Since our sump is very active we had the company out for two service calls to replace their pump.  This company installed this system three years ago and I still get an email response from a voicemail in ten minutes, as well as prompt appointments for that service. Paul came to do an inspection of my issues.  Friendly, knowledgeable, and very honest.  Looked at the issue a few different ways, suggested a couple things to look into that would save money.  Great experience and highly recommend - not the the type of guy looking to reach into your pocket as quickly as possible.

Pleasure of having Paul come out to my home and give us some great advice in keeping the water from out of my home and garage obviously it wasn’t the best news but it’s the honest news I needed and with his wisdom set me up take the proper steps to keep my home water free not only was he knowledgeable but he had an answer for every question I have and all he came by was for a consultation. Wonderfull employee and I can’t recommend him enough the visit was absolutely free but again the wisdom he gave me is priceless absolutely give them a call if you’re having water problems.

I had some water intrusion in my basement following the recent rainstorm on July 5. While searching for a waterproof company I stumbled upon American Dry Basement Systems. Paul came to my home to conduct an inspection, and he really impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. He is not the type of person who just tries to sell his company’s product, he had genuine concern for my situation and wanted to identify the cause of my leaking basement. He even went as far as removing some sheetrock from behind my built-in wall unit to verify where the crack in my home’s foundation was. He identified the location and suggested the best way to repair the damage. His honesty and integrity in top shelf! He made me feel like we’ve known each other for years, and his professional and knowledge is second to none.

Highly recommend ADBS to anyone who is looking to address water issues in their basement - everyone at the company, from front office, to sales, and installers, were a pleasure to work with. Also recommend watching their youtube videos, which show why their waterproofing system is way better than the 'gutter' systems peddled by others.

I am waiting for torrential rain to see how the system works. However, I will review the system in so far as how hard the contractors worked and the explanation of the system. The system took 5 days to install. The workers were courteous and knowledgeable. They worked as a team and dug an interior trench and filled it with gravel large perforated pipes and installed 2 sump pumps with a battery back up. They filled in wall cracks and went above and beyond in their work. They left the basement spotless. I can’t see how the system won’t  work. I had 2 other companies provide estimates, those major companies were much more expensive and their systems required maintenance. The other companies use a smaller gutter system that appears to me won’t move as much water. I recommend emptying out the basement, although they tell you that you can simply move things from the wall. It makes it easier for the workers. I will add photos later and report back after the next storms. Since having the system installed, less humidity and no water in the basement. October 30th storm. I recommend their system. I can hear the water draining into the sump pump. After the heavy rain and snowmelt on March 6 2026, my basement is completely dry. I have had the system now for over a year. My basement is less humid and there is no longer  any water coming through the wall joints.  I highly recommend American Dry Basement. I did have an electric work performed to add 2 outlets for the sump pumps. Having a dry basement will definitely make my home easier to sell. I also recommend having basements checked for radon. The problem is easy to remediate with a venting system.

Just finished having the basement waterproofed by ADB. We were satisfied by all aspects of their operation.  First off, Paul, the Operations manager came out to assess the basement  and gave us his recommendations.  Then Juan and his crew came to follow up and execute  the plan. They  were courteous,  knowledgeable,  neat and on time. Couldn't ask for a nicer crew. I would definitely recommend this co. For waterproofing your basement.

We contacted this company after noticing musty odors and humidity issues coming from beneath the house. The team inspected the crawl space thoroughly and explained how moisture buildup could eventually affect air quality and structural conditions if left untreated. Compared to contractors who offered quick generic solutions, this company seemed much more thorough and focused on long-term results. The encapsulation process was completed efficiently, and the crew kept us informed during every phase of the work. Since the project finished, the house feels less humid overall, and the musty smell that bothered us for months has completely disappeared.

American Dry Basements has never failed us. 28 years ago we implemented their dry basement system, finished our basement and never looked back. We have a two pump system with a backup battery. Every 5-6 years a pump may need to be replaced and they are always highly responsive, getting the job done quickly, never failing to exceed expectations. Every time. We started noticing a musty smell in the basement after heavy rain, so we finally decided to get it checked. A friend recommended American Dry Basement Systems, and they came out within a few days to inspect everything. Mike explained the issue clearly and suggested a waterproofing solution that made sense for our setup. The work was done in about a day, and the basement has stayed dry ever since.

We were getting water in our basement after this horrible winter we had, so we definitely needed to do something about it. Our consult was done by Steve and he was excellent. He talked us through the whole process and made it very easy to understand. Miguel and his crew took about 3 days and we are very pleased with the results. Very professional and kept us in the loop throughout the process. Would highly recommend them to anyone in need of waterproofing their basement!

I've used American Dry now twice, at two different homes, and have been happy with the results both times. They were professional and completed work as promised. The first time it took them twice a long to complete work as originally stated, but I'm grateful they did the work correctly and didn't cut corners, hence my decision to use them a second time after purchasing a new home. No issues with either install, and happy to have a dry basement!
